Artefacts of Life is a curated marketplace for art and artefacts produced through the contemporary studio practice of selected artists. All items sold support the artists directly to create new work and continue experimenting in diverse mediums.
About Ellen Sleeman-Taylor: Through her work in diverse mediums, Ellen exlores themes of love, gender, hedonism, mythology and the contemporary experience being alive and drowining in the detritis of late-stage capitalism.
About Anna Langdon: I'm constantly making things and experimenting with new mediums in my studio practice. The things I make are the symptoms of my existence. I'm curious about materials, textures, soundscapes, fragrances, our sensual experience of the world, unseen energies and dalliances with 'the divine'. I also play in a band and design the album art and merch for us, check out the Bandcamp page for Loose Fit to purchase records or merch.
We live and work on Aboriginal lands. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands that nourish us and inspire us, and pay our respects to Elders past and present as we work towards meaningful reconciliation.
